Story
I’m so pleased and proud to be running the London Marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The London Marathon has been a bucket list goal of mine for as long as I can remember and I’m so excited to have the chance to complete it, thanks to Macmillan.
Being from a young family has meant that I have been lucky enough to know great grandparents, great aunties and uncles and even great-great aunties during my lifetime. Sadly, some of these people have battled with cancer and some have very sadly lost that battle - Nana, Poorly Grandad, Nana Eithne, Noddy Grandad, Auntie Lorraine, Uncle Ken, Uncle Fred, Col Col. Some of these wonderful people received the help and support of Macmillan Cancer Support nurses who ensured that their lives with cancer were lived as comfortably as possible. I’m so proud to be supporting and giving back to Macmillan Cancer Support by running the London Marathon 2023.
I will be eternally grateful to anyone who is able to donate to this cause on behalf of my London Marathon journey.
