Motor Neurone Disease is a terminal illness for which there is no known cause, treatment or cure. It can affect anyone at any age.

Story

I first found out about swimming The Solent for the Ian Pratt MND foundation from one of my work colleagues, Tony. After hearing about the Ian Pratt MND Foundation I could not think of a better way to raise money and really challenge myself!

The Solent is the strait that separates the Isle of Wight from the mainland of England. It is about 20 miles long and varies in width between 2 ¹⁄₂ and 5 miles. Some people will know I was a swimmer when I was younger, but I have never taken on a challenge like this before! I did my first ever 5k swim this weekend which took me 1 hr 40mins. I still have some serious training to do before the swim is due to take place on either 25th or 26th of July 2019. 🏊‍♀️

Please help me to support a more than amazing cause!
