Story
PDSA is a charity I have worked for over a number of years and will be running the London Marathon in 2024 to raise money for this amazing organisation.
From 2016 to 2018, I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing with the PDSA Pet Hospital in Edinburgh, before moving to London. At the end of 2020 I was lucky enough to work for the organisation again, at the Romford Pet Hospital where I currently work as Head Nurse.
I will sadly be leaving the organisation in September 2024 to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinary surgeon, a goal that would not have been possible without the help and support of all my colleagues at PDSA.
Without PDSA, hundreds of thousands of pets and pet owners would struggle to seek and obtain veterinary care. The staff that work for this organisation and the care they provide is outstanding to those in need, and I would love to raise a substantial amount of money to ensure PDSA can continue to provide support and treatment to pets and owners who require it.
Every pet deserves to lead a happy and healthy life. As the UK's leading veterinary charity with 48 Pet Hospitals, we improve pets lives through prevention, education and treatment. Every year our dedicated veterinary teams carry out 2.7 million treatments on 470,000 pets in need - all made possible thanks to people like you.
