We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

Sponsoring me to hurtle through the Herts countryside means Teenage Cancer Trust can support others who are suffering the hell that is cancer. Ellis Clark is the younger sister of my great friend, Billie. She was too young when she passed away from Osteosarcoma. This bike ride is in her memory on what would have been her 21st birthday. I'll be thinking of her every mile of the way. Please donate what you can to help out.

The good news is that after this attempt to cycle 50 miles, I'll probably have worn away the 5% of cartilage left in my knees and you'll never need sponsor me again for a sporting challenge - so dig deep :)

The even better news is that my company, Google, will match whatever donations I receive here, so if I can raise 5K total for TCT then I hope you'll agree, that's some achievement and maybe the kids going to University College Hospital every day to get chemo will have some top-drawer decks to distract them, ipads, Smart TVs, something that makes the ward seem more homely...whatever it is, the money will go to support others in need.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
