Someone very close to me suffers from the rare autoimmune disease Lupus . Lupus is where the body attacks itself just like it attacks foreign pathogens. This causes damage to  major organs and sufferers experience symptoms such as joint and muscle pain and extreme, persistent tiredness. Although there are treatments there is no cure for Lupus, which is what the charity LupusUK is working towards finding. 

Therefore, I am running the London Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for LupusUK. Please give what you are able to help this fantastic charity provide support for Lupus sufferers and specialists!
