Story

I am raising money for Craig's Heartstrong Foundation. Their aim is to enable heart screenings for people aged 14-35 and they are working to provide defibrillators across the Isle of Man. My dad went into cardiac arrest, so without a defibrillator, he would no longer be alive.

As some of you may know my dad survived a widow-maker heart attack last September. He is one of the strongest people I know, making a very strong recovery and he makes me proud each and every day.

The work Craig's Heartstrong Foundation complete each day could prevent what happened to my Dad from happening to other people. I wouldn't wish for anyone to go through what he and my family have endured.

I am taking part in the Parish Walk, an 85 mile walk around the Isle of Man across 24 hours.
Lots of hard work and blisters ahead, but all for an incredible charity that is very important to me and my family.
