Hey!

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who sponsored me for the 1 mile swim I completed last summer at Manley Mere.  Together we raised £433 for Claire House Children's Hospice :)

Run Liverpool Women's 10k run, Sefton Park 8/8/2011:

I DID IT!!! I completed the Run Liverpool's 10k run in Sefton Park in 1 hour and 7 painful minutes! Thank you everyone for your support. 

British Gas Great North Swim, Lake Windermere 18/6/2011:

I will be taking part in the British Gas Great North Swim in Lake Windermere on June 18th 2011.

THE CAUSE:

Claire House Children's Hospice provides support to children between 0-23 years who have life threatening or life limiting conditions from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.  The focus is on supporting the whole family and the facilities can accommodate up to 10 children and their families.  Claire House is a 'place for living' and is equipped with specialist hydrotherapy, multi-sensory and art/activity rooms to help children and their families to make the most of each day.

Claire House need to raise £200,000 per month to stay open! Without guaranteed funding from the government, the charity relies on donations from people like you and me for all of it's income and running costs.

Please help me to support this fantastic facility and it's staff and donate what you can, it really does make a difference :)
