We focus on early diagnosis and awareness to improve survival of pancreatic cancer

Story

Hello! Me and my sister abbie have decided to carry on our fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Action by taking part in the Cardiff 5K race for victory. In January 2015 our father, Anthony Timmons sadly passed away due to the awful illness that is pancreatic cancer.

Up until he was diagnosed we had never heard of pancreatic cancer and did not know how deadly it is. Current rates show that only a minority of people who are diagnosed with it live a year after diagnosis. Were running to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and hopefully help towards funding.
