Sleep Easy is a campaign to combat the problems of youth homelessness and the funding raised goes directly into supporting the local people who need it the most.

Child Dynamix works with and supports many young people facing very challenging and difficult circumstances, such as poverty, issues with education, mental health, crime, substance misuse, or being in care or a care leaver.  

Some of these young people often don’t have adults or family members they can rely on in their lives. Or even a secure place to call home, a routine, or the right support as they try and find their way in life.

The funding raised by Child Dynamix will go directly towards supporting young people to secure safe accommodation, as well helping them to furnish or buy basic necessities, as they attempt to live independently for the first time. 10% of funding will go to YMCA Humber to contribute to their costs for organising the event.

The event will take place on 7th February 2020 at Wilberforce College Hull from 6pm to 6am. Participants will spend the night outside and get involved with shelter building and other activities arranged by YMCA Humber.
