Cycle round Rutland Water for COPS · 9 July 2021

COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

All being well our ride will take place on the 10th July, this gives lots of time to build up my confidence. I only learnt to ride my bike last year and want to do something positive for an amazing charity 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️

Rutland water cycle route is 23 miles all the way around, which is going to be a lot for my little legs, but cops is an amazing charity and I want to do my best for the,.

As the child of a serving officer it’s always in the back of your mind that they might not come home one day 💙

We will be doing the ride as a family, which means mum and dad need to get some practice in too 😃😃

Thank you for your support from Team Jay

COPS provides peer support opportunities an access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives."Your loss is a part of who you are but COPS helps you realise that it doesn’t define you.
