Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

To celebrate April Fools day (and more importantly the start of a new Financial year!), I have decided that it is time I did something a bit different.

You will have seen other people taking on of great challenges – Marathons, 3 peaks, swimming the Thames etc – but having thought about this deeply (admittedly over a few drinks...) I agreed that my challenge would be walking around Hemel with a load of other blokes dressed as women!! (which apparently with the High heels isn’t as easy as it sounds)

Obviously this isn’t only for my own pleasure, and by entering the “Dame for a laugh” walk I am also hoping to raise some money for the Hospice of St Francis.  The hospice took amazing care of a friend's mum who lost her life to Cancer last year and only survives because of charitable donations from people like us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

PS – As they say on their website - You know, it takes a REAL MAN to wear a dress!
