Hello! 

We are Chester Zoo's team of volunteers, we are raising money to help save our zoo by virtually (and covid safe!) walking the 142 miles from Chester Zoo to Noah's Ark Zoo farm where our first Andean Bear Cub Madidi now lives! 

We will be completing these miles separately around our homes, in our gardens and on our daily walks! 

We are going to be doing this throughout March, I wonder if we can rack up enough miles to 'walk there and back'!! .. I think we can!! 

** The volunteer team have already smashed the miles to Noah's Ark as of 6th March! Our mission now is to walk as many miles as we possibly can from now until the end of March! **

Our Zoo holds a very special place in each of our hearts, so many happy and special memories over the years; The conservation work that the zoo does is absolutely incredible!!

The gates may be closed (again, again!), but Chester Zoo is still doing all it can to prevent extinction. From conservation at the zoo with 35,000 animals, to helping wildlife organisations across the world to manage the impact of this global crisis, Chester Zoo is determined not to let coronavirus stand in the way of its vital mission. At such a time of crisis and uncertainty for everyone, I have chosen to raise funds for Chester Zoo so they can use it where they need it most and continue to make their mission of preventing extinction a reality and ensure the survival of species for the future. Together, we can act for wildlife!
