Who do you walk for? This year thousands of people will walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you can help us raise as much money as possible so that we can support families living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes, and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary facing up to it, but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time.

My beautiful grandmother who I live with at home was diagnosed a couple of years back. Over the years I’ve seen first hand the effects it has on people and the people who care for them. I know how hard it can be on family members and how important it is to receive support. I want to do my bit and raise money and awareness for this cruel life taking disease. For something so close to home I’d like to raise enough money to make a change. Any donations little or large are kindly appreciated ❤️

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
