We provide life-enhancing support to the UK's fire & rescue community.

Story

We are 13 trainee fire fighters at Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service and have set ourselves a challenge on the last day of our 16 week initial training course.

On Friday 29th July, we will be carrying a loaded stretcher around the city of Chester, in full fire kit, in order to raise awareness and money for the Fire Fighters Charity.

The Fire Fighters Charity provides vital health and wellbeing support for our frontline firefighters, support and control staff. The Charity relies on individual donors to meet the £10m cost of operating it's services, in support of over 55,000 members of the UK’s fire services community. However, the coronavirus pandemic has hit its fundraising hard and, as it is not eligible for government support, it needs your donations now more than ever.

The charity relies on fundraising events and donations to fund services. Many of these events have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and therefore its funds are beginning to dry up, please give anything you can, any donations would be gratefully received.  Thank you.
