Kid's Camp is a week-long activity in partnership with Barnado’s for young carers that brings 10 children from Leicestershire to the Peak District for a week of fun activities. As a selected camp volunteer (who went through an application and interview!), I will be helping to organise the week’s worth of activities for the young carers who would not usually be given the opportunity to prioritise themselves and have fun. This ‘camp’ will take place in April of 2022 and the funds raised will go directly towards funding the camp activities for the week - whether it is doing arts and crafts, making s’mores, or a day trip out to the zoo.
