At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for supporting me to take part in Memory Walk this year and raise much needed funds for Alzheimer's Society.

Witnessing my grandma Alice going through this, the look in her eyes not knowing who I was, was extremely heartbreaking. Seeing your loved one decline so much in little time is painful when there's nothing you can do. I wouldn't wish this on anybody.

All of the money I raise will help support people living with dementia and their families, so your donation will make a huge difference.

Just £50 will pay for someone with dementia to go to a Dementia Café session every week for a month, where they can meet others, share experiences and feel less isolated. And the more I raise, the bigger the difference it will make.

From the bottom of my heart....Thank you. It means more than you could imagine.
