Story

My Dad bought me a skydive for my 35th Birthday. As this is a paid for jump, I have decided to use the opportunity to raise funds for a couple of local charities, the first one being St Barnabas Lincolnshire, who support thousands of local people with terminal illnesses.

St Barnabas has recently supported and cared for my best friend’s much loved father, George Blow, who very tragically lost his battle to cancer after a courageous fight. I know how grateful George’s family are to the support that this small charity provided George through such a difficult time and I will always be grateful for the support they provided my friend ❤️.

St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity who supports more than 10,500 people across Lincolnshire with a life-limiting or terminal illness each year. They deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. They aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left. They are reliant on the financial support the community provides, to be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.

I am also raising funds for a second local charity - RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid and Lincoln Branch, which forms part of my fundraising team. Please consider donating to both charities, as I know both will both be very grateful.
