This page is dedicated to a beautiful Mum, Sister, Auntie and Great-Auntie, Shelley Ann O'Connor. 

Mum sadly passed away suddenly of COVID-19 on 14th January 2021. She received treatment for paranoid schizophrenia from the NHS for the majority of her life and in her final weeks she received care and treatment for COVID-19 from the amazing doctors and nurses at Southend Hospital. This is the reason for us choosing this great charity in memory of Shelley. 

Mum, you were so happy, cheeky and funny. Through all of your struggles you always had a smile on your face. You loved your family so much and we adored you. We are so proud of you for how you handled your condition, and for living life to the fullest every day. You also had a lot of friends who you loved and who will miss you so much.

We know that you are now beyond happy and at peace which gives us comfort.

We love you to the moon and back xxxx
