Story
Neil Simpson, Alasdair Hunter, Chris Westwood, Sharon and Kirsty Singer and Mat Comer are running 50 MILES (each!)
in one day (Saturday 17th May 2008).
On May 17th 2008, we will run 50 miles in a day to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support in memory of Dee Mason, a local Hampshire Fund-raiser who died of cancer 2 years ago. Tragically, Dee lost her life to cancer in 2006. Now relatives and supporters of Dee are following in her brave footsteps and carrying on an annual sponsored walk through the New Forest.
Neil Simpson, a friend of the family, wanted to kick-start the fund raising campaign for 2008 and decided to embark on a 50 mile run on the day before the sponsored walk. He has enlisted Alasdair, Chris, Sharon, Mat and Kirsty. For information on the Dee Mason memorial walk see:

Neil, Alasdair, Chris, Mat, Sharon and Kirsty will start their run at the source of the river Itchen in Cheriton, East Hampshire, down the Itchen Way to Winchester, following the Clarendon Way to Salisbury (Wiltshire), travelling south along the Avon Valley path into the New Forest and finishing at Nomansland on the Wiltshire/Hampshire county border.

For Your Information, if we ran the 50 miles from our offices as the crow flies we could end up in any of the following places:
