Story
Rae Isla Rose Foster ❤️ an amazing, strong and inspiring little girl we had the absolute honour of knowing and loving. Rae went through more in her 4 short years than most do in a lifetime. She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at the tender age of 5 months old. Rae went on to battle untold rounds of chemotherapy, procedures and other treatments and kicked cancers butt. She was awesome! Sadly in 2020 Rae contracted Covid and with an already compromised immune system from all her unforgiving chemotherapy, began to see her health decline once more. This amazing little girl kept smiling until the very end. Rae grew her angel wings on 16th August 2020. As you can imagine it shattered the lives of our dear friends, Rae’s amazing Mum & Dad, Aimee and Dave. Naomi’s House Children’s Hospice gave Aimee, Dave and many family and friends the opportunity to spend precious time with Rae before she was laid to rest. In their most difficult and darkest time in life, Naomi’s House gave them some light, and for that we are forever grateful. Kara and Freya adored Rae, they still talk about her everyday and will always have a special place for her in their hearts. They came to me asking if they could do a sponsored big hair chop to remember their Rae Rae. My heart couldn’t be more full. Their hair will be donated to The Little Princess Trust and the money will be donated to Naomi’s House Children’s Hospice, to allow them to continue to offer the outstanding and oh so important care they offer to the families that go through their doors Xx
