I am the current Commissioner of Labor in the state of North Carolina, however, you probably know me as the "Elevator Lady"! I am participating in this fundraiser because I love children and want children in foster care to feel loved, cared for and lifted up! Since 2004, I have been the Elevator Lady in North Carolina and have been lifting up North Carolinians all over the state:-) After lifting everybody up over the years, I hope my friends and family and the people of North Carolina will help me lift these children up by donating to my Charlotte Has Talent campaign.  On November 16th Charlotte Area Celebrities will come together for ONE purpose! Raise funds and awareness for children in foster care in the Charlotte area. "Charlotte Has Talent" is a talent competition featuring Charlotte Celebrities and Influential individuals. Our emcees for the event are Jonathan Stewart, former Carolina Panther and Morgan Fogarty from WCCB. All funds raised at the event will be used to provide each child in Foster Care in the Charlotte community with a Bag of Hope. A Bag of Hope is a monogrammed, personalized duffel bag that are made specifically for an individual child once Least of These Carolinas is notified of their placement. Bags include new clothes, shoes, toiletries, blankets, stuff animals, toys, and anything else the child needs/wants.
