Story
Hi everyone
Hope everyone is keeping safe sand well.
This last year has been a difficult year for everyone, especially the NHS.
Not only have they had to cope with the pandemic, but alongside this they have had to continue ensuring non COVID related patients have been cared for in addition to bringing newborns safely into the world.
In 2018, I became a dad for the 2nd time. While it was a very exciting moment, it was also a very scary and uncertain time as my son was premature. Not having experienced anything like this I was filled with fear and doubt about the welfare and development of my son.
However, having witnessed the tireless work the paediatric Ward Nurses, doctors, Consultants and even the Cleaners did, it gave me reassurance that everything was going to be fine.
My son is now a healthy and bubbly 2 year old who continues to develop and keep us entertained with his antics!
This is why I want to raise valuable funds for Heartlands to show my family’s gratitude and thanks in the work you all did to bring our son home safe and in good health.
Please donate whatever you can and if you want to come support me while I do the Bham Half Marathon, then please do so in October this year. The date will be Sunday 10th October.
Thank you.
