In February 2018 I hope to travel to Gulu in Northern Uganda with the charity Edukid. The aim of the trip is to experience first hand poverty and to learn about charities like Edukid who work with people living in extreme poverty. Edukid works with children who are unable to attend school many of whom come from child-led families or are orphans.

While in Uganda we will have the chance to meet some of the children that Edukid supports and see how the charity can change their lives. The trip will also be an amazing personal experience which I hope to learn from; it is a once in a life-time opportunity and any donations, small or large will be very gratefully received.
