Story

Harleys story - He was born at 33 weeks and did really well but after a few weeks started to struggle to breathe. After a long and challenging series of investigations we were diagnosed with two holes in the heart (VSD,s) and Tracheal Stenosis (a very rare condition effecting his airway) We were transferred to GOSH under the care of the only surgeon in Europe who could help save Harley.

Harley had very complex surgery to repair his heart and perform a slide tracheoplasty after going into full heart failure. He is on a long road to recovery thanks to the amazing team at GOSH.

Harleys family have been utterly astounded by every member of the team here from the amazing surgeon who saved their son to each and every nurse and support person who make this a very special place. Thanks for reading Harleys story so far... we have lots of hurdles to overcome but little man will get there, he is a fighter! This is our way of giving just a little back to support this amazing hospital and help other families and children in the future.
