Macmillan and York Racecourse have partnered together for over 50 years now to help support people living with cancer through a number of activities that have raised millions of pounds.

Story

I will be taking to the skies in April, taking part in a tandem skydive at Bridlington Airfield, East Yorkshire to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.Macmillan and York Racecourse have partnered together for over 50 years now to help support people living with cancer through a number of activities that have raised millions of pounds.  Rich (my partner) lost his wife Karen to cancer in 2010 when their son Jack was just under 3 years old, Jack is now my lovely 15 year old adopted son - I'm raising money on behalf of Rich and Jack in memory of Karen who was also a lovely friend and work colleague.  Over the years we like so many other people have lost family and friends to Cancer, Macmillan have played a vital support role with care and compassion and is a charity that we have held dear to our hearts for many years.
