Story
Lockdown has been tough for a lot of people and organisations. Personally, I've suffered from a serious lack of motivation after 9 months of fairly continuous isolation. I can only imagine what it's been like for people suffering serious illness on top.
So, it's time to try and do something for myself and for others far worse off. I'm heading out for a virtual Lands End to John O'Groats journey.
That's 1,083 miles to cover and I'd like to be complete by 31st December 2021.
If you can spare some change to motivate me and help support a worthy cause, I'd be very grateful indeed.

Update: 1st March 2021
Over the weekend, I officially passed through 220 miles and also the 20% complete mark! Thanks for all the support so far, it really helps with motivation. Still a long way to go but I'll continue to chip away.
Update: 24th April 2021
Over the weekend, I achieved 40% of my journey. That's just over 436 miles completed. I'm still ahead of schedule and currently 'virtually' heading towards Leicester. Chip Chip Chip.
Update: 1st November 2021
I am now at 900 miles completed. That's 83% done and just over 180 miles left to cover before the end of the year.
Update: 30th December 2021
That's it! I've completed the challenge! Ellie and I went out for one more virtual walk to complete the full distance and cross the finishing line. It may not have been the actual John O'Groats sign post but this challenge has just about the only thing that I've actually completed this year! I even ended up doing a few parkruns to end the year in style. More importantly, we're also nearly at my fundraising target thanks to everyone's generous donations. Xx
