Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Last year I met Melvyn Patterson after he came to my shop looking to purchase some tees for a charity walk his family were doing, in memory of his son Lee.  Lee was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2020 and sadly passed away only a matter of weeks later.

Please read Lee's story here:

After meeting with Mel, we kept in touch through updates of the walk and on hearing about their amazing fundraising achievements since I have felt attached to their cause and I was inspired to use this opportunity to do my bit too.

Mel and his family really are an inspiration as they have raised in excess of £20,000 so far to help individuals and families who will benefit from this charity.  Can you help smash my target of £500 by giving even the smallest amount towards it.

And on a personal note: it's my first GNR and as I turn 40yo in August this will be a particularly awesome personal achievement and your support is very much appreciated!

Thankyou for reading.

Karl.
