Story

What better challenge is there in the year your turning 40 then to run the London Marathon!

With many family members as Licensed London Taxi Drivers, my charity of choice is The Albany Taxi Charity.

It's a fantastic Charity that prides itself on helping out children with special needs.

Taking children on day trips such as Thorpe Park, Chessington, visits to the Seaside, visits to see Pantomimes at Christmas.

From donations they are also able to provide the Children with items such as Televisions, Stereo's, Sound Equipment and Wheelchairs for their schools where needed.

I am also dedicating my run to a close family member of my wife who recently lost he's battle with cancer, London Taxi Driver Richard Langley.  A truly remarkable man. Loving Dad to Ava and Louie, doting Grandad to Renee, Gerry and Molly and a devoted Husband to Janet. He was loved by all, we will miss him terribly.

Thankyou for all your support and donations.

Let's do this!

Our Charity is a fund run by Licenced Hackney Carriage Taxi Drivers which was established in 1972 for Children with Special Needs from S.E London & Kent Area. We take over 300 children/carers in 100 black taxis down to Hastings for a fun day out. We also take children from Chernobyl to Herne Bay.
