Story

Hello everyone

It has been 5 years now since my beautiful and wonderful wife Liz passed away in the Martlets Hospice in Hove after a 4 month battle with cancer. She showed enormous courage and determination during her illness. She inspires me to this day and I still miss her enormously.

Hospice staff around the UK as well as in The Martlets work very hard looking after terminally ill people with very little government funding. In her memory I have run (slowly!) the Brighton (2013) and London (2015) Marathons to raise much needed funds.

This year I have decided to run both the Brighton & London Marathons again, iin the same month. Sunday 9th & 23rd April respectively.

After a couple of chest infections my training has got off to a bad start, but as always I will do my best to raise as much money as possible for The Martlets and Hospice UK in her memory.

I do hope you will donate / sponsor me as much as you possibly can. Charles x
