Story

Hi we're Sam and Jodie. We're both running the London Marathon on 21st April 2024. A date that would have been our aunt Sue's birthday. We lost our Aunt, Sue, last year and our Mum, Ann, in 2020 to cancer and so have decided to raise money for Hospice UK.

As some of you may know, neither of us have ever run long distance... or run in general at all... so this is going to be a great challenge both physically and mentally for us both. However, it is something that Mum would have loved to see us both achieve and it will be great to follow in our Dad's footsteps as he completed the London Marathon in 2004. Although, i'm sure Dad is glad to be cheering from the sidelines this year! 😂

Hospice UK is a fantastic charity. They supported both our Mum and Aunt towards the end of their lives and did amazing things to provide as much support as possible. We are running to celebrate the lives of our loved ones and give back to a charity that helped us so much. Any donations would be greatly appreciated... and please wish us luck!
