I am proud to raise money as a part of my work for such a wonderful and important charity. I have experienced gendered violence and domestic abuse myself and recognise the life saving support charity's like Refuge offer. Though I haven't been as active as I would like to be, this is a great way of giving back and also getting myself back into a healthy place, beating away the January sads. 

Over the rest of January, myself and other members of our close knit team are getting motivated and completing 50km for charity. The hope is that each individual can raise at least £50 each. I will be running and cross training (on especially cold days) over the next 3 weeks to reach my goal.
