I’ve finally gone bonkers and decided to jump out of a plane... (which I’m always told a lot of people would pay to see... now you can!) .... My grandma who suffers from dementia lost her sister last year who also suffered from vascular dementia. on August 31st 2018 I will be doing a tandem skydive from 10,000 ft to raise much needed funds for Alzheimer’s research uk.

could fund a post-doctoral researcher for one hour, to carry out crucial research into the cause, care, cure and prevention of dementia.

could fund one of our Side by Side services for one hour, pairing people with dementia with volunteers so that they have the support they need to keep doing the hobbies and activities that are important to them.

could provide practical and emotional support to a person who has just received a diagnosis of dementia, by paying for a Dementia Support Worker to spend an hour with them at their home.
