Story
Charlotte's Mummy fought Appendix cancer for four years, and was cared for in the last four months of her life by the wonderful team of staff and volunteers at Hospice in the Weald in Pembury. The same team also helped Daddy to cope before and after Mummy died.
To say thank you, Charlotte is taking part in the Hospice's annual Moonlight Walk, on her birthday, 17th June. Charlotte would like to raise as much money as possible for the Hospice, so that they can help other people, just like they helped Mummy.
Daddy will look after Charlotte on the walk, and we will be surrounded by a team of family and friends as well. Charlotte's Auntie Carlene is also raising money for Maiher and her own mum at:

About the Hospice
Hospice in the Weald provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, and those important to them, in West Kent and northern East Sussex. We are there 24 hours a day to help, support and care for patients with an illness where a cure is no longer possible. It's not just at the end of life that Hospice in the Weald can help. We want to ensure that anyone affected by a terminal illness, whether as a patient or a loved one, can access the support they need when they need it.
