We aim to raise awareness of mental health to improve mental wellbeing in Lancashire

Story

During my 30s, I will be completing 30 challenges; my goal is that each challenge will either raise money for charity, or bring a spark of happiness to the lives of others. 

If you are able to donate to my chosen charity, Lancashire Mind, I would be so grateful. 

"Our vision is Mental Wellbeing for All and with your help we can stop misconceptions about mental health, develop resilience in people from an early age and work with communities to build a happier Lancashire. " Lancashire Mind 

Their work is bringing light to Lancashire; the home to many of the wonderful people I care about. 

My challenges are: 
1-  Instead of birthday presents from family/friends, donate to Lancashire Mind COMPLETED 3/11/2019
2-  Complete my 10 hour Dancerthon and encourage friends and family to take part and raise money for charities close to their hearts COMPLETED 02/11/2019

3- Complete the Yorkshire 3 peaks all in one - Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent 
4- Donate at least 7 inches of hair to a wig making charity - COMPLETED 18/12/19 - 11 INCHES DONATED!)
5- Paddleboard the length of Windermere 
6- Paddleboard the length of Derwent Water 
7- Paddleboard the length of Coniston
8- Learn to knit and then knit items for charity - (COMPLETED 01/04/20)
9- Donate the equivalent of a week's food shopping to a food bank - (COMPLETED 14/05/20)
10- Run 30 miles during January - (COMPLETED 28/01/20)
11- Register to be a bone marrow doner - (COMPLETED 11/12/19)
12- Spend a day gardening for a community project 
13- Encourage a team of friends and family to complete a muddy 10k, all raising money for charities close to their hearts
14- Give birth! - (COMPLETED 15/10/20)
15- Complete a week without eating anything from plastic packaging 
16- Complete an open water swim 
17- Complete a fell race 
18- Cycle coast to coast (COMPLETED 04/22)
19- Donate my wedding dress to charity
20- Take part in a litter picking event 
21- Learn more French so that I can help my nephew with his passion for learning the language (COMPLETED 21/08/20 (although always a work in progress!)
22- Donate blood (COMPLETED 08/11/2019)
23- Volunteer with Claremont First Step Community Centre - COMPLETED 20/08/20 
24- With my nephews, write to children in hospital, via the charity Post Pals (COMPLETED 12/12/19)
25- Donate milk to neonatal babies through Chester Milk Bank - (COMPLETED 29/06/21 - OVER 2 LITRES DONATED)
26- Donate at least 1 bag of clothes to charity  COMPLETED 02/03/21
27- Start my coaching course and provide coaching to others COMPLETED 19/05/20
28- Bake  and deliver goodies to a local parent and baby group
29- Complete 30 of the Wainwright fells (COMPLETED 24/08/21)
30- Complete a Lancashire Mind first aid course (COMPLETED 23/11/21)
