Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
*** if we raise more than £2000 my sister and i will both shave our heads***
I know it may not seem like much but for sombody like me who has had minimum shoulder length hair since age 3 it is a big thing ! Its also a good cause, donating hair can help improve a persons life after cancer/chemotherapy.
I already donate platelets (you might be able to do the same - check out the link at the bottom) and donating my hair seemed like a surprise step which opens the door to fundraising for another worthy cause, Macmillan Cancer Support.
Cancer is a big thing in everybodys life, both my grandfathers passed not so long ago after battling cancer for many months and a family friend recently passed after a hard battle with this horrible disease. Everybody is affected by it - patients, family& friends alike.
Which is why I am asking you -yes you- to help me raise funds, no matter how little or by what means you can help (even if you care to join me) it all makes a difference.
