Story
Hello!
If you have reached this page then you more than likely know me personally. I am also sure you'll be aware that I recently lost my father Brian. My Dad was unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with limb girdle muscular dystrophy when I was a young child. This muscle wasting condition made everyday life extremely difficult for my Dad and still continues to effect the lives of others. There currently isn't a cure and that is why it is important to support the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, ensuring they can continue to research in hope that one day a cure can be found.
My Dad was an absolute inspiration and despite his situation he always found positivity in life. He was the most genuine and kind man who spent his time helping others. Seeing the attitude my Dad had for life has inspired me to try and make difference where I can.
On Saturday the 15th March I will be skydiving as part of Make Today Count 2015!
Make Today Count is back, bigger and better than ever before. Last year, 147 brave skydivers took on this once in a lifetime experience, raising vital funds for research into muscle-wasting conditions. This year is my opportunity to make a difference. I will be one of 100 people taking on the exciting challenge for team orange.
