Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Why am I throwing myself out of a plane you might ask?

It's all about my special little man -Austin. Here's his story.......

Early on in my pregnancy (10weeks) I was found to have an antibody in my blood which could have proved fatal to my unborn baby. This antibody destroyed his blood and also stopped him producing his own. Because of this my unborn child had to have blood transfusions  roughly every 4 weeks. Without the constant monitoring and expert treatmant from the team on the Foetal Medicine Unit at St Georges Hospital my little man would not be here. I am eternally grateful to Prof Basky, Susan and their team at the FMU.

Doing this jump is my way of giving something back! Please help by donating whatever you can. The money raised will go towards new equipment, training of community midwives in such a rare condition and supporting other families going through similar experiences.

Thank you
