Story
I am doing a skydive on the 16th July 2016 to raise money for children hospice south west in memory of my beautiful son Charlie Watts.
Charlie was born on the 18th Feb 2014, and we went straight from the hospital to the hospice with him. My older son Alfie and family were able to stay at Charlton Farm with us which was so comforting to have them there too. While at Charlton farm I was able to create so many wonderful memories with Charlie and spend each and every precious moment with him, not having to worry about day-to-day challenges.
The staff provided around the clock help and support to me and my family and I don't think I could have got through everything without them.
My beautiful son Charlie passed away at just 19 days old safely cuddled up in my arms. I wish I could spend just one more moment with him, and although i'll forever be thankful for the (9 months! +) 19 days I got to spend with him, it will also never be enough. But I am so very thankful that I have all the everlasting memories that Charlton Farm helped me to create and I will cherish these forever.
The Hospice still provide support to me when I need to talk to someone or need some advice. The hospice also has a team of sibling workers who have been so amazing at helping me with challenges Alfie has experienced. They are always around to answer my questions however big or small or to just give me reassurance that I'm doing things right!
