Story

Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and read my story. The Stroke Association is a charity very close to my heart as I have seen first hand the impact strokes can have and how vital research can be.

In December 2014, my beloved Grandad Bob suffered a massive stroke which left him paralysed down his right hand side, prohibiting him from ever standing again, and with difficulty to communicate through speech.

Sadly, Bob passed away in August 2017 and it is thanks to the work charities such as Stroke Association do that the last two and a half years of his life were lived to its full potential and were as comfortable as they could be.

Bob was not only my Grandad but my best friend and the most special person I've ever met. So please, dig deep in memory of such a wonderful person and help to continue research to help more people in the same situation as Bob was.

Thank you, Charlotte x
