Story

Below is my original story from when we organised this walk. It is with great sadness that I have to write that beautiful Millie Rose lost her battle and grew her angel wings on Wednesday 2nd July 2014. Millie was an amazing little girl who fought this terrible illness nearly all of her short life with great bravery and stoicism. All events in her name are still going ahead including our walk in Millie's memory. All monies raised will still go to The Millie Rose Appeal, and will then be passed on to another brave little soul fighting Neuroblastoma. Please donate, every little helps. Thank you for taking the time to read xxx

I have organised a walk from Chorley to Southport to try and raise funds for a beautiful 3 year old girl called Millie-Rose from Skelmersdale who is currently battling Neuroblastoma.

Millie needs life saving treatment in Germany which the NHS do not/cannot fund. I have not had the honour of knowing or meeting Millie or her family, but I am a parent of three little ones, and I know if it was my child I would want anyone/everyone to do something and help. No parent should have to stand by and watch their child suffer.

Millie's only hope is getting this treatment. Her fund is still short of the amount needed. Please, if you do just one thing today - donate to little Millie and please keep her and her family in your prayers.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and visit my page. No child should have to suffer when life saving treatment is available. Lets help get Millie abroad, and get her better. Thank you xxx
