I will be joining Roy in some of his events for his 12 Events in 12 Months challenge. All of these events are in memory of his wonderful mum, Sandra Bailey, who we sadly lost last June. We are going to do her proud, especially Roy.

The charity that we have chosen is The Christie. I have lost some of my family members to cancer and some are on a daily battle with this disease. These are some of the bravest people I know! I hate this disease, but giving my all in these events is my way of helping such a worthy charity. 

**** The Christie has been pioneering cancer research breakthroughs for over 100 years and is the largest cancer centre in Europe. Treating more than 40,000 patients each year, we were the first UK centre to be officially accredited as a comprehensive cancer centre. Based in Manchester, with radiotherapy centres in Oldham and Salford, we are a national specialist treating 25% of patients from around the country****

Manchester  Run (10k) on the 18/05/2014

The Great Manchester Cycle (52 miles) on 29/06/2014

The Colour Run (5k) 05/07/2014

Manchester to Blackpool Cycle (60 miles) on 13/07/2014

I will be signing up for the Mens Health 'Survival of the fittest' challenge in November, once dates are confirmed, and also the 3 Peaks challenge.

I would love to do The Christie skydive!
