At the young age of 12 years old, my beloved uncle lost his silent battle with depression and took his own life. Not only was this my uncle but also a father figure in my life and I took the loss badly. My whole life changed the day he passed away and after years of challenging times myself after loosing someone so close to me, I decided to help others to see that this doesn’t have to be the only way out.

I’ve tried my best to help many people from charity events, offering a free talking service to working in a female psychiatric hospital with patients sectioned and serving a prison sentence who were a high risk to themselves and now it’s time for the skydive!

Your support would mean the world to me and the individuals out there who are battling with their mental health. The money I raise will go towards keeping the phone lines open for the charity ‘Mind’ and allowing them to provide support, advice and information to those who so desperately need it. Sadly, there are so many people who suffer every day with 1 in 4 of us in the UK experiencing mental health problems.
