Story

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. Although there is currently no cure for MND, symptoms can be managed to help achieve the best possible quality of life. Exciting research is also on the horizon.

I am running this half marathon in memory of my Dad and for other friends who have been affected by MND. I can only aspire to face challenges that occur in my life with the same courage, grace and humour.

We were so lucky to have been supported by a charity who provided additional aid, something I understand better now.

Please donate if you feel able to. Thank you!
