In June Eve and I will be getting out of the office and taking taking part in the Bobby Moore Fund’s Project Namibia as staff reps. We will join 38 other participants to help renovate the Tubusis Primary school which is in the Damaraland region of Namibia. 

The school serves approximate 275 pupils from pre-primary through to year seven.  We will be carrying out repair and renovations that include repairs to walls, paint work, doors and locks, ceilings and windows. 

The work will be physically demanding and carried out in high temperatures.  Our accommodation will be wild camping in tents and our entertainment will be playing football with the local children after a hard day’s work!

All donations will make a massive difference both to bowel cancer research in the UK and to a remote community in Namibia.
