Story
I am running my first ever Marathon, on the 2nd October in support of WaterAid.
Having accepted my place at the start to August, I have taken on the insane challenge of getting Marathon ready in two months. Any sponsorship to myself and WaterAid is gratefully received.
Everyday, I work as part of a team providing clean water to nine million people across London. Water is life’s essential service, both here in London, and across the world, and that is why I am proud to be running and raising money to help end the global water crisis.
I want to especially highlight WaterAid`s work towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These goals provide a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. Without availability of clean water, sanitation and hygiene for all, none of the other goals can be sustainably achieved.
WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation.
