Charlotte's Chop for Children with Cancer

Charlotte Morgan is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Charlie's Chop for Children with Cancer · 10 December 2020

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

I am Charlotte. I'm 12 years old and I am donating my very long hair to the Little Princess Trust on the 10th December.

I have been growing my hair for almost 8 years and I am asking people to sponsor me to have it cut short. I will be having over 14 inches cut off. It is a big step for me as I have always loved having long hair but I feel that it is time to have it cut so that someone can benefit from it.

The Little Princess Trust will use it to help make a wig for a child who has lost their hair through cancer. It would mean a lot to me if I can help make a child who has been through so much smile and find their confidence again.

As well as donating my hair, I would like to raise enough money for The Princess Trust to use my hair to make a wig for a child. It costs them £550 to make and fit 1 wig so please donate and help me to reach this target. Every little bit adds up and I appreciate any donation, no matter how large or small.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this and support me in trying to do something nice during such a difficult year for so many people.
