I have decided to take on this 10k run in support of Cancer Research UK. Most people have directly or indirectly been affected by this indiscriminate disease. At the moment, one in two people will develop cancer at some point in their lives. This is an opportunity to help a charity researching all two hundred types of cancer. They aim to improve the survival rate from the current two out of four people to three out of four by 2034.
