Story

I was diagnosed with Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy when i was 18. My brother Tom was also diagnosed with the same condition when he was 10. Living with sight loss is something that has re-altered the course of my life.

Since my diagnosis, I have had the chance to take part in some of the services that the RSBC offer. From Employ-ability, Social and Peer and Health and Well-being sessions, the activities that the RSBC run have given me a chance to experience new things that otherwise I wouldn't have been able to.

I really appreciate the time and effort that RSBC staff and volunteer's put into helping me achieve the ambitions.
