Story
Thank you so much to everyone who donated. I wasn't able to commit to fundraising as much as I wanted due to family circumstances but £200 makes a massive difference :) the trek was amazing and 100% donations went to WSPA.
World Society for the protection of Animals do a fabulous job helping animals all over the world. They put money and effort into enforcing laws that deal with the bear bile trade, the dog meat trade and the whaling trade. They also work with disaster management, helping the animals and the owners that depend on them for an income. Bear fighting and baiting are also high on their priority list, and they have sanctuaries across the world such as in Pakistan and Romania. Last year I was lucky enough to visit the Romanian one whilst doing a charity trek for WSPA and see the work they do. It made all the hard work more than worth it when we reached the target at the end, and inspired me to step it up a level and do Costa Rica this year with Discover Adventure who are absolutely great.
By asking you to donate, I promise to work hard for this trip and hopefully raise more than the required amount. 100% of the money donated will go to the charity, as I am paying my own way.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please dig deep and donate now.
