Story
This is my personal challenge to help Double Impact, raising money for the organisations 20th birthday. Double Impact have given me so many opportunities to better my life. They have helped me with courses for learning all aspects to gain a better lifestyle and more opportunities for voluntary work to get myself into future paid work.
They are a massive part of my recovery from active addiction which I struggled to abstain from as I never had much structure in my life.
Double Impact have given me a lot of tools to maintain my abstinence from drugs and alcohol; thanks to their recovery groups and peer led support groups and they have a good productive structured academy I attend on a weekly basis and they have services that liaise with Cafe Sobar of which I am a regular customer of and if it wasn't for Double Impact I wouldn't have much to focus on and now I have a passion to give back to a charity that helps others in similar situations to mine.
I want to give back to Double Impact to say thank you for them broadening my horizons and widening my opportunities to become a better and a more productive member of society; plus this occasion will be part of a massive year for me and Double Impact as I am also a runner representing Double Impact for the Robin Hood half marathon on September 30th. This is another opportunity for me to help raise money to better their services that already have helped others so far with qualifications that will give everyone like me a dream life.
So any support would be greatly appreciated any donations will make a huge Impact as it is all going to a good cause.
